Terms and Conditions for Pre-Order of Coverride Pendant

Effective Date: July 2025

 

1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the pre-order of the product “Coverride Pendant” (“Product”) offered by Searcode SRL, an Italian company located at Viale Magna Grecia 57, 88100 Catanzaro (Italy) (“we”, “our”, or “us”), via the website pendant.coverride.com

By placing a pre-order, you (“you” or “customer”) agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before submitting your reservation.

 

2. Nature of Pre-Order

By submitting a pre-order, you are reserving a unit of the Coverride Pendant prior to its public release. No product will be shipped until production is completed and shipping begins.

We offer two types of Pre-Order and possibility for reservation:

Standard Preorder:
This option is non-binding and does not require any payment. You simply enter your email address to be added to the notification list. You will be informed when the product becomes available for purchase, but this option does not guarantee early access or discounted pricing.

VIP Preorder:
This option allows you to purchase the product in advance at the exclusive discounted price. Payment is collected in full at the time of purchase through our payment provider (Stripe), and your order will be prioritized for early shipping. This constitutes a confirmed order and is subject to our cancellation and refund policies.

Reservation (Deposit Only):
You may alternatively place a $10 USD non-refundable deposit to reserve access to the VIP Preorder price of $75 USD. This deposit secures your right to complete the purchase at the discounted launch price when the product becomes available. However, it does not obligate you to pay the remaining $65 USD. If you choose not to complete the purchase, your reservation will be cancelled and the deposit will be forfeited.

The $10 deposit will be fully credited toward the $75 total if you proceed with the VIP Preorder. Reservation holders will be contacted by email prior to launch with instructions to complete their purchase.

Estimated shipping is scheduled to begin no later than September 30, 2025, with a possible delay of up to 60 calendar days, due to unforeseen manufacturing or logistics issues. We will keep you informed of any changes.

 

3. Price and Payment

  • The pre-order price is displayed at checkout and is charged in U.S. Dollars (USD).
  • Shipping to the United States is free of charge.
  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Your billing details are handled directly by Stripe and are subject to their privacy and security practices.

 

4. Customs and Import Duties

The Product ships from Italy. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your shipment may be subject to customs duties, tariffs, or taxes levied by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) or other authorities.
  • These charges are not included in the pre-order price, and are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • We do not control or influence the assessment or amount of any import duties.

 

5. Delivery

  • Deliveries will be made to the shipping address provided at checkout.
  • Tracking information will be shared via email once your order has shipped.
  • While we strive to meet the estimated delivery schedule, shipping dates may be subject to change due to production or logistics delays, force majeure, or customs clearance.

 

6. Warranty and Legal Disclaimers

We stand behind the quality of our product and ensure that each unit is carefully inspected before shipping.

If your Coverride Pendant arrives damaged, non-functional, or materially different from its description, you may be eligible for a resolution under applicable U.S. consumer protection laws. In such cases, you must contact us at info@coverride.com within 10 business days from the date of delivery and provide detailed evidence of the issue (including photos of the product and packaging).

Any claim must demonstrate that the defect existed at the time of delivery. We reserve the right to reject claims that show signs of misuse, physical damage caused after delivery, unauthorized modifications, or accidents.

No extended or commercial warranty is provided, and we do not guarantee repair or replacement beyond the initial 10-day notification window, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

 

7. Repair Policy (Post-Sale Support)

If the issue with your product falls outside the 10-business-day window for reporting manufacturing defects or nonconformity, or if the damage is due to accidental causes, misuse, improper handling, or wear and tear, you may still request assistance.

In such cases, you can contact us at info@coverride.com to request a non-binding repair estimate.

After reviewing your request and the evidence provided (including photos or a description of the issue), we may offer a preliminary cost estimate.

Repair process:

  • You must contact us describing the issue and providing photos or documentation.
  • If repair is deemed possible, we will provide a preliminary cost estimate.
  • You must ship the product to us at your own expense.
  • Upon receipt, we will inspect the product and provide a final repair quote. If, after inspection, we determine that the product is not repairable, or if you decline the final repair quote, or if we decline the repair request, the product will be returned to you, and you will remain responsible for return shipping fees.
  • If you approve, you must pay the quoted fee; we will proceed with repair and reship the item.

We reserve the right to decline repair in cases of excessive damage, misuse, or non-repairable faults.

 

8. Cancellations and Refunds

You may request a full refund for your pre-order at any time until August 30, 2025. After this date, pre-orders are considered final and non-refundable.

Cancellations will not be accepted past the deadline, except in cases of product defect or nonconformity, as outlined in our Warranty and Repair Policy.

Reservations made with a $10 deposit cannot be cancelled. The deposit is entirely non-refundable and will be forfeited in the event you do not complete the purchase at launch by paying the remaining balance.

 

9. Cancellation by Searcode SRL – Force Majeure

Searcode SRL reserves the right to cancel any pre-order at its sole discretion in the event of force majeure or other unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of war, embargoes, regulatory restrictions, supply chain disruptions, production failure, or inability to fulfill the order within a reasonable time frame.

In such cases, you will receive a full refund of any amount paid, and no further claims or liabilities shall be due from Searcode SRL.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the Product.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or third-party shipping carriers.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles, and any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of California or, where applicable, in federal court.
